Creating Your Own Blog

Starting your own blog is easier than you might think. There are a limitless amount of reasons why you might just want to start your own, not to mention that its FREE.

So far http://blogger.com is one of the most popular blogging sites available out there. Sites look incredible and are used in a WYSIWYG editor.

Here are a few simple steps to get you started.

1. Go to http://blogger.com. If you don't have an account yet, register for one, it's free. After you've registered, you can start creating your blog immediately.

2. Click on "Create Blog" button and it will take you to step 2- "Name Your Blog".
- Type a Title for your blog. This will be the shown as the title of your blog site.
- Type a blog address which will become the URL for your blog site.
- Click on "Continue" and you'll be brought to step 3

3. Choose a Template
- Choose a template that best represents your site theme and content.

You can always change the template later on, so if you're not yet sure, just go ahead and choose one.

- Click on "Continue" and you'll be brought to a page that says "Your blog has been created!"

Now you can start posting your message by clicking on "Start Posting"

4. Type in your message title and your message. After you're done typing, click on "Publish Post" and you will receive the message "Your blog published successfully". Your message is now posted in your site.

PLEASE NOTE: If you don't post a message, your blog won't be up on the Internet. Create a post (editing it is possible) and then you will see your new blog.

5. To view your site, click on "View blog" and voila! you have a new website.


6. Customize your site with Google Ads in the side bar. If you have not signed up, go to google.com/adsense to sign up for the program. You will have to cut and paste the code on your site once you are approved for the program.
